Lower Prices to Boost Adoption of Solar Energy Solutions
September 20, 2025: Luminous Power Technologies, one of India’s foremost energy solutions providers, has announced that it will extend the entire benefit of the recent GST rate cuts to its customers starting September 22, 2025. The move comes in response to the decision taken at the 56th GST Council Meeting on September 3, 2025, chaired by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

With this change, the GST on solar products will drop from 12% to 5%, while power backup solutions will see a reduction from 28% to 18%.
