SMK, the premium brand from Studds Accessories Ltd., marked a major milestone at India Bike Week 2025 with the launch of SMK Cygnus and an expanded portfolio of helmets and riding jackets, reinforcing its focus on advanced safety, innovation and rider convenience.
Headlining the showcase was the SMK Cygnus, a flip-back helmet featuring a 180-degree rotating chin guard and P/J certification, a rare distinction in India. Designed for versatility, Cygnus seamlessly converts between full-face and open-face modes to suit both sporty and upright riding postures. Built with an Energy Impact Resistant Thermoplastic (EIRT) shell and multi-density EPS liner, the helmet offers enhanced impact protection, a wide anti-scratch visor with Pinlock® MaxVision, an integrated sun visor, efficient ventilation and premium interiors. Cygnus is expected to be priced between ₹17,000 and ₹20,000 when it enters the market in the coming months.
SMK also introduced globally acclaimed models Ares and Nova. Positioned for performance-focused riders, Ares features a sporty design with a detachable sun peak, while Nova offers an ultra-wide, optically corrected field of vision and eyeglass-friendly comfort. These models will be available at starting prices of ₹6,350 and ₹3,900, respectively.
Expanding its urban and touring offerings, SMK launched the Delta series in the Demi-Jet category. Delta City is tailored for daily commuters with a lightweight build and clean urban styling, while Delta Tour targets long-distance riders with dual visors and Bluetooth compatibility. Prices start from ₹3,299.
Complementing the helmet range, SMK showcased its complete CE Level A certified riding jacket line-up for summer, winter and touring, underscoring its commitment to safety-led premium motorcycling gear in India.
