Ishan Technologies, a pan-India provider of ICT and digital infrastructure solutions, has marked 25 years of operations by announcing a ₹300 crore investment plan to strengthen its AI-ready connectivity, sovereign cloud, cybersecurity, and platform-driven infrastructure across the country. The investment will enhance its presence in metro markets while accelerating growth in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities and new growth regions.
As enterprises and governments increasingly adopt artificial intelligence, cloud interconnectivity, and stricter data governance frameworks, Ishan is evolving from a traditional telecom services provider into a unified, platform-led digital infrastructure company. Its integrated model brings together data networks, cloud interconnect, MPLS, SASE, and bandwidth-on-demand into a single ecosystem. This enables organisations to run secure, scalable, and software-defined digital operations with greater transparency, stability, and performance.
Human capital remains a core pillar of the company’s strategy. Ishan currently employs over 2,000 professionals across engineering, network operations, cloud, cybersecurity, and managed services. Over the next two years, the company plans to grow its workforce by 20 per cent, with a strong focus on building regional talent capabilities and specialised technical teams.
Commenting on the announcement, Mr. Pinkesh Kotecha, Chairman & Managing Director, Ishan Technologies, said, “Our journey has been about building digital infrastructure that creates meaningful connections and stands the test of time. As cloud becomes sovereign by necessity and networks move toward software-driven models in 2026, the real differentiator will be platforms that bring security, performance, and resilience together end-to-end. With investments in AI-led network optimisation, intelligent automation, and customer experience solutions, we are focused on making digital infrastructure more adaptive, efficient, and responsive to real business needs.”
Established in 2000, Ishan Technologies has transformed from a regional internet service provider into a national technology partner with operations in more than 100 locations. Over 25 years, the company has built and operates a wide portfolio of digital assets, including owned fibre networks, a National Long Distance licence, edge points of presence, carrier-grade platforms, and Rated 3 data centre facilities.
The company is empanelled with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) as a Cloud Service Provider and follows CMMI Level 3–certified delivery processes assessed by KPMG. It is also empanelled under the IndiaAI initiative as a digital infrastructure partner, serving enterprises, public sector bodies, and institutions across India.
Ishan has supported multiple large-scale and mission-critical digital programmes across sectors such as government, aviation, BFSI, and national digital platforms. These deployments align closely with India’s priorities around digital sovereignty, trusted domestic infrastructure, and secure technology frameworks.
Headquartered in Gujarat, the company views the state as a future hub for AI, digital infrastructure, and data-centric industries. Its base in Gujarat provides strategic advantage as India advances its digital economy and technology ambitions.
Looking ahead, Ishan has outlined an ambitious growth roadmap, aiming to scale its business tenfold over the next three to four years. This next phase will focus on shifting from execution-led growth to platform-driven excellence, while continuing to prioritise customer experience, operational reliability, and long-term trust across its ecosystem.
