Prudent Technologies has joined the GSMA Open Gateway initiative, reinforcing its commitment to advancing standardized telecom network APIs and strengthening global fraud prevention frameworks.
The move positions Prudent within a global ecosystem driving adoption of CAMARA-based Open Gateway APIs, enabling enterprises and developers to securely access telecom network capabilities such as number verification, SIM swap detection, and network-level authentication.
Launched at Mobile World Congress Barcelona, the GSMA Open Gateway initiative now includes 85 telecom operator groups representing over 300 mobile networks and 81% of global mobile connections. The framework enables operators to expose network capabilities through standardized APIs, simplifying enterprise integration while enhancing security and interoperability.
Prudent Technologies will contribute its expertise in secure messaging infrastructure, authentication systems, and operator-grade API integration to accelerate commercial adoption of CAMARA-compliant services. The company will support telecom operators in deploying interoperable network services and assist enterprises in integrating secure identity verification and fraud detection capabilities.
These capabilities are increasingly vital for sectors such as banking, fintech, e-commerce, government, and digital platforms, where fraud prevention and secure onboarding are top priorities.
BJAS Murthy, Director & CEO of Prudent Technologies, said the company’s participation reflects its mission to bridge telecom network capabilities with real-world business applications while strengthening trust and security across digital ecosystems.
Henry Calvert, Head of Networks at GSMA, welcomed Prudent to the initiative, highlighting its experience in supporting enterprises globally.
As telecom networks evolve into programmable platforms, standardized APIs are becoming central to enabling secure, scalable digital services worldwide.
