Udyogtech Ventures Pvt. Ltd., operating as Factrika, has raised ₹8.9 crore in a seed funding round led by Info Edge (India) Ltd. Founded in July 2024, the on-demand industrial workforce platform connects manufacturing companies with skilled and verified factory workers.
Factrika currently has over 10,000 registered workers across 20-plus skill categories and reports a worker show rate of over 90%. Its platform enables factories to request workers, digitally manage shifts and attendance, and facilitate daily payments. The company aims to strengthen its team, technology and operational capabilities while expanding into additional industrial clusters across India.
Its clients include Lenskart, Asahi India Glass, Jubilant Foods, Epack Durables and Talbros Auto Components.
Factrika estimates India’s manufacturing workforce opportunity at $23 billion and is pursuing a cluster-led expansion strategy across locations including Manesar, Bawal, Noida and Bhiwadi.
Kshitij Puri and Gaurav Asthana, Co-founders of Factrika, said, “India’s manufacturing workforce has a fundamental availability and reliability problem. We are building Factrika to make the industrial workforce supply more real-time, skill-led and transparent. This investment gives us the ability to strengthen our team and take the platform into more manufacturing clusters, while creating greater opportunities for workers.”
Hitesh Oberoi, MD & CEO, Info Edge (India) Ltd., said, “Factrika is solving for deep use cases related to recruitment and employment in Indian manufacturing units. They have an innovative platform based approach, which positions them uniquely to solve for key problems in this sector. We are excited to back them and work with them going forward.”
