Festive offer enables 2G users to upgrade to 4G at an effective device cost of ₹299
Celebrating 10 years of connecting India, Jio has announced the Jio Anniversary Offer on JioBharat, aimed at making the transition from 2G to 4G more accessible for feature phone users.
Under the limited-period offer, eligible JioBharat 4G phones are available for ₹1,499, along with six months of complimentary recharge benefits, including 14GB of data every month and unlimited HD voice calling, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
For users who typically spend around ₹199 a month on 2G connectivity, the six-month expenditure can be close to ₹1,200. With the new offer, customers receive a 4G-enabled JioBharat phone along with six months of connectivity benefits, bringing the effective device cost to ₹299.
JioBharat goes beyond traditional calling and messaging, offering access to digital services including JioTV, JioHotstar, music content and UPI payments through JioPay. It also features payment alerts and Sound Box functionality, along with Jio Safety Shield and location-monitoring features.
The device comes with a 2.4-inch display, 2,000mAh battery and 4G connectivity, enabling users to access a wider range of digital services through Jio’s network.
