Apollo AyurVAID, known for its high-quality Ayurveda hospitals, has now launched a new range of safe and effective Ayurveda products for the Indian market. This move marks Apollo AyurVAID’s entry into the ₹60,000 crore Ayurveda product industry, which is growing rapidly every year.
The company has introduced 50 products, including traditional formulations, over-the-counter (OTC) wellness items, and medical foods. These products focus on common health issues like pain, stress, sleep, and skin care. What makes them stand out is that every product is lab-tested for safety—checking for heavy metals, bacteria, and toxins. Each pack has a QR code that customers can scan to view the actual lab report, giving full transparency.
Dr. Preetha Reddy, Executive Vice Chairperson of Apollo Hospitals, said, “With this launch, we are making Ayurveda safer and more trustworthy. We are blending traditional knowledge with modern science to help more people benefit from Ayurveda.”
The products will be sold in three formats:
- Classical medicines – available through doctors and hospitals
- OTC products – available in retail stores, Apollo Pharmacies, Apollo 24|7, and online
- Dietary supplements – under the brand name AvestaAyurVAID, made in partnership with Avesthagen, and free from sugar, artificial colors, or flavors
Founder and CEO, Rajiv Vasudevan, shared the company’s vision: “We’ve built trust in Ayurveda through years of hospital-based care. Now, we want to bring that same trust to products people can use at home. Our goal is to reach ₹500 crore in product revenue in the next five years.”
Alongside the product launch, Apollo AyurVAID plans to expand its hospital network by adding 9 more centers this year, increasing its bed count to 350, and aiming to treat over 50,000 patients annually. The company is also on track to cross ₹100 crore in annual revenue by mid-2026—one of the fastest growth rates seen in the Ayurveda sector.
