Ultraviolette has launched the X-47 Crossover, the world’s first production motorcycle to feature radar and camera integration as standard equipment, setting a new benchmark in rider safety and electric mobility. Priced at an introductory ₹2,49,000, bookings are now open, with deliveries beginning in India from October 2025 and global rollout planned for 2026.
Equipped with UV HyperSense, Ultraviolette’s proprietary radar intelligence suite, the X-47 uses 6th-gen long-range radar paired with the vehicle control unit to deliver rider assistance features such as blind-spot monitoring, lane-change assist, overtake alerts and rear collision warnings. This makes it the first commercially available two-wheeler with an Advanced Rider Assistance System (ARAS).
Powered by a 10.3 kWh battery, the motorcycle delivers 40 hp, 610 Nm torque at the wheel, a 0–60 km/h sprint in 2.7 seconds, a top speed of 145 km/h and an IDC range of up to 323 km. The bike is designed for versatility, offering upright ergonomics, 200 mm ground clearance, and Ultraviolette’s aviation-inspired design DNA.
Safety and control are enhanced by Bosch 10th-gen switchable dual-channel ABS, Brembo braking systems, traction control, and industry-first radial all-terrain tyres. The motorcycle also debuts Ultraviolette’s in-house engineered air-cooled onboard charger – the most power-dense of its kind – with Type 2 AC compatibility and support for DC fast charging. An industry-first parallel boost charging system halves charging time using a standard 16A supply.
Other highlights include:
- Integrated dual-camera dashcam with HDR wide-angle cameras and secondary touchscreen display.
- Customizable ride modes (Glide, Combat, Ballistic).
- 9-level regenerative braking with Dynamic Stability Control and Hill Hold.
- Connectivity via Violette A.I., offering crash alerts, theft protection and smart ride analytics.
- Optional hard/soft panniers and top-box storage.
Speaking at the launch, Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & Co-founder, said: “The X-47 represents a new era of safety, performance and versatility in electric mobility, designed to meet global standards while showcasing Indian innovation.”
Deliveries in India will begin in October 2025, with the introductory price available for the first 1,000 customers.
