Raghu Mocherla Joins Hexaware to Head Cyber-Physical Systems and AI-Led Engineering

Bengaluru: Hexaware Technologies (NSE: HEXT) has appointed Raghu Mocherla as Senior Vice President – Digital & Software. In his new role, he will head the Cyber-Physical Software and Systems portfolio within Hexaware’s Digital & Software (D&S) business, focusing on strategy, growth, and client outcomes.

Raghu brings over 25 years of experience in product engineering, R&D, and industrial operations. Prior to joining Hexaware, he spent more than a decade at Capgemini, where he led the ER&D business in the Americas, overseeing key sectors including industrial manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, rail, and defense.

Hexaware’s D&S unit is strengthening its focus on cyber-physical systems, connected AI at the edge, and AI-led systems engineering to help enterprises build intelligent products and modernize operations.

Commenting on the appointment, Sanjay Salunkhe, President and Global Head – Digital & Software Services, Hexaware, said Raghu’s blend of engineering expertise and business leadership will play a key role in advancing the company’s AI-first digital strategy.

Raghu Mocherla said he looks forward to driving the next phase of growth and positioning Hexaware as a strategic partner for AI-driven innovation across IT, engineering, and manufacturing. Raghu is based in Boston.
