Bengaluru: GITAM (Deemed to be University) will host the 13th International Conference on Transformations in Engineering Education (ICTIEE 2026) at its Bengaluru campus from January 7–10, 2026. The four-day global event, themed “Transforming Teaching and Learning Ecosystems in the AI-Driven World,” is being organised in association with the Indo Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE) and is expected to see participation from over 500 delegates.

ICTIEE 2026 will bring together global educators, academic leaders, and industry experts to discuss innovative pedagogical practices, research, and the evolving role of technology in engineering and higher education. Leaders from prominent organisations including Microsoft India, ABET, Accenture, Dassault Systems, and Metaverse will participate in knowledge-sharing and networking sessions.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Basavaraj Gundappa K, Pro Vice Chancellor, GITAM University, Bengaluru and Conference General Chair, highlighted the need to transform classrooms into spaces that foster innovation, critical thinking, and ethical leadership in an AI-driven world.

Alongside the conference, IUCEE will also host the IUCEE Annual Student Forum 2026 at the GITAM Bengaluru campus. The forum, themed “Empowering Students in an AI-Driven World,” will provide students a platform to showcase innovation, collaboration, and leadership while addressing real-world challenges.

With its strong focus on human ingenuity alongside advancing technology, ICTIEE 2026 aims to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of engineering education globally.
