Bengaluru: Ather Energy has announced the appointment of Surabhi Loshali as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this role, she will lead the company’s human resources and administration functions, supporting Ather’s next phase of growth.

Surabhi brings over two decades of experience in HR leadership, with expertise spanning people strategy, organisational development, talent management, large-scale transformation, and culture building across sectors such as pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, technology, and financial services. Prior to joining Ather, she served as Group CHRO at Strides Pharma Science Limited, where she led global people initiatives across multiple regions.

At Ather Energy, Surabhi will oversee the full spectrum of HR operations, including talent acquisition, leadership development, organisation design, employee experience, diversity and inclusion, HR technology, and people analytics. She will work closely with the leadership team to strengthen leadership capability, build future-ready skills, and sustain Ather’s high-performance, engineering-led culture.

Commenting on the appointment, Tarun Mehta, Executive Director and CEO, Ather Energy, said that as the company scales across products and markets, building strong teams and long-term organisational capability remains a priority, and Surabhi’s experience will be key to that journey.

Surabhi said she looks forward to strengthening leadership depth and people systems that evolve with the business, while preserving the distinctive culture that underpins Ather’s growth.

She holds a PGDM in Human Resources from XLRI Jamshedpur and a bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science and Chemical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering, and brings extensive global exposure across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
