Sony India has announced the launch of the BRAVIA 7II, a premium television series that introduces the company’s True RGB technology to Indian consumers. Designed to deliver a more realistic and immersive viewing experience, the new BRAVIA 7II combines Sony’s advanced display innovations with intelligent picture and sound processing to bring cinema-quality entertainment into the home.

At the core of the BRAVIA 7II is Sony’s RGB Backlight Master Drive Pro technology, which independently controls red, green and blue LEDs to deliver enhanced colour accuracy, deeper contrast and improved brightness. Paired with Sony’s Cognitive Processor XR, the television reproduces images in a way that closely aligns with how people naturally perceive sight and sound, resulting in richer detail, greater depth and lifelike visuals.

The BRAVIA 7II also features RGB Triluminos Max with Luminance Booster, enabling a wider colour spectrum and enhanced brightness levels. Additional technologies such as XR Contrast Booster, XR Clear Image and XR Motion Clarity work together to optimize picture quality across movies, sports and gaming content.

The television supports Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, HDR10, HLG and IMAX Enhanced, offering cinematic visuals and multidimensional sound. Acoustic Multi-Audio+ technology, available on larger screen sizes, further enhances sound positioning for a more engaging experience.

For gaming enthusiasts, BRAVIA 7II supports 4K 120Hz gameplay through HDMI 2.1 and includes features such as Auto Low Latency Mode, Variable Refresh Rate and Game Menu 2 for enhanced responsiveness and customization.

Powered by Google TV, the BRAVIA 7II provides access to thousands of apps, movies and TV shows, while upcoming Gemini integration will enable more intuitive voice interactions and content discovery.
