ISACA Bangalore Brings Together 400+ Experts for 29th Annual Karnataka Conference on AI and Cybersecurity

ISACA Bangalore Chapter hosted the 29th Annual Karnataka Conference at Taj MG Road, Bengaluru, bringing together more than 400 delegates for two days of discussions on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, governance and digital trust. Held on July 24 and 25, the conference was themed “Fortify the AI Backbone and Agentic AI – Govern, Secure, Thrive.”

The conference was inaugurated in the presence of Praveen K.N., Zonal Commissioner, South Zone, BDA, Government of Karnataka; Upendra Upadhya, Chief Operating Officer, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, and Director Analytics, MyGov; Subramanian J., IT Risk & Compliance Practice, SQ1 Security Technology Private Limited; T.R. Rajesh, President, ISACA Bangalore Chapter; and Lalitha Satheesh, Vice President, ISACA Bangalore Chapter, along with other dignitaries.

The event explored emerging opportunities and challenges in artificial intelligence, information security and cyber governance through keynote addresses, technical sessions and panel discussions featuring industry leaders, government representatives and academicians.

Welcoming delegates, T.R. Rajesh, President, ISACA Bangalore Chapter, said the conference theme reflects the growing importance of building secure and well-governed AI ecosystems. He also noted that the chapter recorded its largest-ever conference, surpassing last year’s attendance of 300 delegates with over 400 registrations this year.

Lalitha Satheesh, Vice President and Conference Chair, ISACA Bangalore Chapter, outlined the conference agenda and thanked the dignitaries and speakers for contributing their expertise.

Among the key sessions was “AI’s Role in People, Processes, and Technologies – An Organizational Perspective,” delivered by Subramanian J. The conference also featured the release of the latest ISACA Bangalore newsletter and an awards ceremony recognising top performers in ISACA certification examinations, including CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, CDPSE, Advanced in AI Audit (AAIA) and Advanced in AI Security Management (AAISM).

With over 2,800 members, ISACA Bangalore is India’s largest chapter and continues to play a key role in advancing knowledge and professional excellence in IT governance, risk, security and audit.
