Mahindra today announced the expansion of its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) programme across its entire Electric Origin SUV portfolio, making the offering available on the BE 6 SPORTEQ, XEV 9S and XEV 9e.
Introduced with the launch of the BE 6 SPORTEQ, BaaS enables customers to finance the vehicle and battery separately through a dual-financing structure. The model lowers the upfront vehicle cost while giving customers greater flexibility in managing their monthly outflow.
Under the programme, the BE 6 SPORTEQ starts at ₹11.45 lakh#, with the battery financed at an effective usage cost of ₹3.75/km#. Following the strong response from customers across the country, Mahindra is extending BaaS across all variants of the BE 6 SPORTEQ and introducing it to the XEV 9S and XEV 9e.
Under the expanded programme:
- XEV 9S starts at ₹12.65 lakh#, with battery financing at ₹3.75/km#.
- XEV 9e starts at ₹13.90 lakh#, with battery financing at ₹3.75/km#.
- BaaS is available across all variants of the BE 6 SPORTEQ, XEV 9S and XEV 9e.
The expansion reflects Mahindra’s focus on making EV ownership more accessible through flexible financing options and greater customer choice.
