Axis Bank today announced the launch of ARISE Homecoming, a dedicated hiring initiative aimed at connecting globally educated Indian students and early-career professionals with career opportunities in India.
The programme is open to Indian students pursuing or recently completing their education at overseas universities, as well as professionals with up to two years of international work experience. Candidates from diverse degrees, disciplines and institutions can apply, with the initiative focused on skills, potential and role fit.
With around 12.54 lakh Indian students enrolled in overseas higher education institutions in 2025, ARISE Homecoming seeks to provide this growing pool of globally exposed talent an opportunity to contribute to India’s evolving economy and industry landscape.
Commenting on the launch, Rajkamal Vempati, Group Head – Human Resources, Axis Bank, said:
“Careers today are increasingly shaped by choice, purpose and the opportunity to create impact. Through ARISE Homecoming, we are creating a pathway for globally educated Indian talent to build fulfilling careers at Axis Bank. As banking and financial services continue to evolve, this talent can learn, lead and grow alongside the industry.”
Through ARISE Homecoming, candidates can explore roles across business, technology, digital, strategy, wealth, governance and other functions, based on the Bank’s requirements.
The initiative extends Axis Bank’s hiring approach beyond geographical boundaries and aims to bring diverse perspectives, global exposure and emerging capabilities into the organisation.
