New additions strengthen Mahindra’s multi-energy Urban Prosper Platform

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., India’s leading manufacturer of utility vehicles and a leader in the LCV <3.5 t segment, today announced the launch of the New Veero 1.1 XXL CNG and Upgraded Veero Diesel.

First introduced in September 2024, Veero marked the debut of Mahindra’s Urban Prosper Platform (UPP), India’s first ground-up, multi-energy modular commercial vehicle platform. The range combines mileage, performance and advanced safety features.

The New Veero 1.1 XXL CNG is designed for intra-city applications, offering a 1.1-tonne payload and a 2900 mm cargo deck. Its 5.1 m turning radius enables easy manoeuvrability in congested areas. Powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine producing 48.5 kW and 98 Nm, it delivers an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 21.4 km/kg and a combined Petrol + CNG range of over 450 km.

The Upgraded Veero Diesel now features a 26.03 cm touchscreen with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and voice commands, along with cruise control and LNT technology. Power windows and fast-charging ports are standard across variants. iMAXX connectivity now includes remote AC control alongside 50+ features.

The New Veero 1.1 XXL CNG will be available from September 20, 2026, while the Upgraded Veero Diesel is available from September 8, 2026.
