From Arsenic-Free Water to AI Diagnostics, Vande Bharatam Showcases Nine Grassroots Innovators

Vande Bharatam, Mr Gautam Adani’s nationwide initiative to discover and celebrate grassroots innovators and entrepreneurs, featured nine startups across Episodes 3, 4 and 5, aired from September 4 to 6.

The startups, from Bihar, Haryana, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka, are working across water-tech, climate, agri-tech, education and healthtech. The episodes featured mentors and investors including Pranav Adani, Managing Director, Adani Enterprises Ltd; Ankur Dahiya, Co-Founder & CEO, Rozana; Dr Apoorva Ranjan Sharma, Co-Founder & President, Venture Catalysts; Vijay Kedia, Founder & Director, Kedia Advisory; and Pratham Mittal, Founder, Tetr College of Business & Masters’ Union.

Episode 3 featured Navmarg Research and Innovation, Jan Niti and Plenti. Navmarg presented its patented MARU system for arsenic removal from drinking water, while Jan Niti showcased its AI-powered policy simulation platform. Plenti demonstrated its hyperlocal surplus-food marketplace.

Episode 4 featured Dharaksha Ecosolutions, Humble Bee and Bhaumya Innovations. Commitments included Vande Wings, mentorship, potential partnerships and investments, including a ₹2 Cr investment in Bhaumya Innovations.

Episode 5 featured Thinkerbell Labs, Primary Healthtech and JivaScope, spanning braille literacy, AI-enabled diagnostics and offline cardiac, respiratory and tuberculosis screening. Primary Healthtech received a ₹1 Cr investment commitment.

The season now moves toward its Grand Finale on September 17, where winners will receive a ₹2 Cr cash prize backed by Adani Group.
