10 co-branded Mega Charger hubs across four states add 2.7 MW capacity and support 75 lakh+ green kilometres
Tata Power, in partnership with Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. (TATA.ev), has recorded over 70,000 charging sessions across its 10 co-branded Tata Power x TATA.ev Mega Charger hubs in India. The network has clocked more than 85,000 charging hours, supporting over 75 lakh electric kilometres and helping avoid an estimated 6,690 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.
Located across Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, the network comprises 25 fast chargers and 56 charging guns, adding 2.7 MW of cumulative charging capacity. Individual hubs offer capacities ranging from 180 kW to 600 kW, enabling multiple EVs to charge simultaneously.
The hubs strengthen connectivity across key corridors, including Greater Noida–Agra via the Yamuna Expressway, Hyderabad–Vijayawada, Bengaluru–Tirupati and Pune–Bengaluru. The network also includes urban charging hubs in Mumbai and Hyderabad.
The Leela Mega Charger near Terminal 2 of Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport is the flagship site, offering 16 charging guns and 600 kW capacity, allowing 16 EVs to charge simultaneously. The location is designed to serve private EV owners, taxis, ride-hailing fleets and other high-frequency users.
The Mega Charger network forms part of Tata Power’s wider EV charging ecosystem, comprising 6,700+ public and captive charging points, 2.5 lakh+ home chargers and 1,200+ bus charging points across 690+ cities and towns.
Many of the charging hubs are accessible through the Tata Power EZ Charge app, offering EV users convenient access to charging infrastructure across key travel and urban routes.
