India’s leading villa rental platform targets growth in alternative accommodations with tech-driven and guest-centric model

StayVista, the country’s largest villa rental brand, has secured over ₹40 crore in Series B funding, with JSW Ventures leading the round. Existing backers DSG Consumer Partners and Capri Global Family Office also participated in the latest investment. The company plans to utilize the funds to expand into new markets, boost its operational teams, and further enhance guest experiences and partner services.

With a network of over 1,000 properties across 85+ destinations, StayVista has become a go-to platform for premium and luxury vacation rentals in India. The brand has hosted over a million travellers so far, maintaining a high customer satisfaction score with an average rating of 4.7 from more than 30,000 reviews.

Targeting India’s growing demand for experiential and private accommodations, StayVista operates across three segments—mass premium, premium, and luxury. Beyond just stay options, the platform offers curated add-ons such as F&B customization, event planning, and concierge services to deliver personalized and memorable getaways.

India’s vacation rental sector is on a high-growth trajectory. With the larger market valued at $22.3 billion and projected to grow at a CAGR of 9%, the holiday home segment alone is expanding at 13.5%, currently pegged at $2.1 billion. StayVista is well-positioned to lead this surge as domestic tourism continues to rise, supported by higher disposable incomes and remote work flexibility.

Pranav Maheshwari, Co-Founder of StayVista, reflected on the milestone:
“We’ve laid a strong foundation with profitability, a rapidly growing portfolio, and over a million delighted guests. This funding allows us to build further—positioning StayVista not just as the leading villa rental brand but as a frontrunner in the broader alternative accommodation space in India.”

Sachin Tagra, Managing Partner at JSW Ventures, added:
“Travellers are increasingly opting for non-hotel stay options that offer privacy, personalization, and flexibility. StayVista’s tech-enabled and guest-first approach gives them an edge in this evolving landscape. We’re excited to partner with the team as they scale new heights.”

StayVista’s capital-efficient model and focus on quality experiences continue to set it apart in India’s expanding travel and hospitality ecosystem.
