Ather Energy, India’s leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer, today unveiled its all-new EL platform, marking its first major vehicle architecture since the 450. Designed for versatility, scalability, and cost optimisation, the EL platform will power the next generation of Ather scooters across multiple segments, delivering faster innovation, improved serviceability, and enhanced rider experience.
Alongside EL, Ather announced a series of product and technology updates:
- AtherStack™ 7.0: The latest upgrade to Ather’s proprietary tech stack introduces voice-enabled interaction, powered by AI tuned to Indian dialects. New safety features include Pothole Alerts, Crash Alerts, and enhanced theft protection with ParkSafe™ and LockSafe™.
- Infinite Cruise™: A first-of-its-kind cruise control system tailored for Indian conditions, offering CityCruise™, Hill Control, and Crawl Control modes.
- Faster Charging: New 6kW chargers deliver double the charging speed, adding 30 km of range in just 10 minutes, with select chargers featuring built-in tyre inflators.
- Rizta Updates: Ather’s family scooter now gets a touchscreen dashboard, Eco Mode, and a new Terracotta Red colour.
- Redux Concept: A moto-scooter showcasing future-ready performance with adaptive ride dynamics, posture transformation, and Morph-UI for context-based displays.
