The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) have signed a three-year memorandum of understanding (MoU) to advance business, accounting, and finance education worldwide.
Under the partnership, the two global bodies will collaborate on research initiatives around the future of work, employability, social impact, and career development, while also exploring the influence of AI on learning and education. The alliance will further support universities and promote stronger connections between academia and industry.
Helen Brand, Chief Executive of ACCA, said the partnership reflects the changing role of accountants who now drive sustainability, ethical leadership, and digital transformation.
Lily Bi, President and CEO of AACSB, noted that the collaboration aims to strengthen the bridge between business education and professional practice, ensuring learners are equipped for a fast-evolving global economy.
Md. Sajid Khan, Director – India, ACCA, added that the MoU will help enhance accounting education in India, focusing on work readiness and industry–academic linkages.
