Bengaluru: Mahindra Construction Equipment has introduced its new mini compactor, Mahindra COMPAX, at the EXCON exhibition organised by CII in Bengaluru. Developed for road construction applications, the model features advanced technology and aims to enhance productivity, efficiency and profitability for contractors. Mahindra also presented its upgraded CEV-V range of equipment with improvements in comfort, performance and fuel efficiency.
Dr. Venkat Srinivas, Business Head – Mahindra Truck, Bus and Construction Equipment, said the new machine reflects Mahindra’s technology strengths and understanding of India’s infrastructure requirements, adding that the company’s indigenous manufacturing capabilities make its products well suited for demanding compaction work.
The company’s equipment portfolio includes the RoadMaster motor grader, which holds a leading market position, along with the EarthMaster backhoe loader. Mahindra continues to expand its service and spares network with more than 136 touchpoints across the country.
The MCE range is designed and built at Mahindra’s Chakan facility under its “Made in India, Made for India” approach and now includes backhoe loaders, motor graders and the newly launched mini compactor. These machines come with a one-year/2,000-hour warranty and support from mobile service teams, dealerships and authorised service centres.
Mahindra’s construction machinery is sold in over 20 international markets, with growing distribution in regions such as the Middle East, Latin America and Africa. The company plans to strengthen its presence in these territories and sees increasing opportunity for its CEV-V equipment and fuel-efficient offerings.
