Ather Energy has significantly expanded its retail footprint, crossing 700 Experience Centres (ECs) across India in FY26, nearly doubling from 351 centres a year ago. The addition of over 350 new ECs has strengthened the company’s reach, enabling deeper market penetration and improved accessibility for customers nationwide.

This rapid expansion has contributed to Ather’s strong growth trajectory, with its national market share rising to 18.7% in March 2026, according to Vahan data. A key driver of this momentum has been the success of the Ather Rizta, the company’s first family-oriented scooter, which has sold over 2.8 lakh units since launch. The model has helped Ather tap into new customer segments and expand demand across previously underserved markets. Continued traction for the Ather 450 performance series has further supported growth across regions.

Ather’s expansion strategy in FY26 has focused on Middle India and Rest of India, where the company has aggressively scaled its presence. This has resulted in nearly doubling its market share in these regions, reflecting strong adoption and increasing brand visibility. At the same time, Ather continues to consolidate its leadership in South India while expanding into Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, creating a more balanced national footprint.

Ravneet Singh Phokela said, “The last year has been about scaling our retail footprint as a key lever for growth. While we’ve expanded across all geographies, our aggressive push in Middle India and parts of Rest of India has helped unlock new markets and customer segments, driving strong volume and market share gains. We see significant headroom for further growth and will continue this momentum in the coming quarters.”

Beyond retail expansion, Ather has strengthened its ecosystem to enhance the ownership experience. The company recently crossed 500 authorised service centres, ensuring reliable after-sales support across its operating cities. Additionally, Ather Grid—India’s largest two-wheeler fast-charging network—has grown to over 4,357 charging points globally, improving charging convenience and accessibility for riders.

With a strong product portfolio, expanding infrastructure, and a focused regional strategy, Ather Energy is well-positioned to sustain its growth momentum and deepen its presence across India’s evolving EV landscape.
