Marking his 64th birthday, Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, has launched Vande Bharatam, a nationwide initiative aimed at identifying and nurturing entrepreneurs, innovators and changemakers from across India.
Open to participants of all ages and backgrounds, the programme will cover all 36 States and Union Territories and more than 800 districts. It seeks to provide aspiring entrepreneurs from small towns, rural regions and emerging cities with an opportunity to showcase their ideas alongside participants from established start-up hubs.
Applications are open to individuals with innovative concepts, prototypes, early-stage ventures or existing businesses. Registration as a start-up is not mandatory. The initiative welcomes entries across sectors such as technology, manufacturing, agriculture, sustainability, traditional crafts and community-led innovations, while encouraging participation from women, tribal entrepreneurs, Divyang entrepreneurs and rural innovators.
Speaking at the launch, Gautam Adani said, “When I began my journey, I had nothing. Everything I have achieved came from the opportunities this country gave me. Through Vande Bharatam, we hope to discover talented individuals whose ideas can create meaningful economic and social impact.”
Applications will be evaluated through a structured multi-stage selection process based on innovation, impact, entrepreneurial potential and scalability. Seventy-five finalists will be invited to Ahmedabad for an immersive programme featuring mentorship, interactions with industry leaders and investors, and networking opportunities.
The programme will conclude with a Grand Finale around Independence Day. Finalists will also receive continued access to mentors, incubation support, strategic partnerships and other growth opportunities. Applications are open at vandebharatam.org.
