Vande Bharatam, the nationwide initiative launched by Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, to identify and support grassroots innovators and entrepreneurs, has announced actor, television host and entrepreneur Rajeev Khandelwal as its Ambassador and Host.
In this role, Khandelwal will lead the programme’s public outreach while hosting key stages of the initiative, including interactions with shortlisted innovators, mentors and industry leaders. He will also anchor the Grand Finale in Ahmedabad, scheduled around Independence Day.
Known for his work across television, films and digital entertainment, Khandelwal has built a strong connection with audiences over the years. His experience as a presenter and storyteller aligns with Vande Bharatam’s objective of bringing entrepreneurial talent from small towns, rural India and emerging regions into the national spotlight.
Speaking about the initiative, Gautam Adani said, “India is home to immense entrepreneurial talent, but opportunities have not always reached every aspiring innovator. Vande Bharatam is an effort to discover and support individuals whose ideas can create lasting impact.”
Commenting on his association, Rajeev Khandelwal said, “Some of the most inspiring stories are often found far from the spotlight. Vande Bharatam offers an opportunity to meet people who are solving real problems through innovation, and I am proud to be part of a platform that gives them national recognition.”
Vande Bharatam is conducting a nationwide search across all 36 States and Union Territories and more than 800 districts. Seventy-five finalists will be selected through a multi-stage process and invited to Ahmedabad for mentorship, industry interactions and investor engagement before the national finale. Applications are currently open at vandebharatam.org.
