Muthoot FinCorp Ltd., the flagship financial services company of the Muthoot Pappachan Group (Muthoot Blue), has appointed Manoj Kumar Mauni as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO), reinforcing its commitment to technology-led growth and innovation.
The appointment comes as Muthoot FinCorp continues to strengthen its technology ecosystem to support its expanding operations across more than 3,800 branches and its digital platform, Muthoot FinCorp ONE. The company is focused on building scalable technology capabilities that enhance operational efficiency, customer experience and long-term business growth.
Manoj brings more than three decades of professional experience, including over 25 years in the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector and more than 15 years in senior leadership roles. Throughout his career, he has led large-scale digital transformation initiatives covering technology strategy, cloud adoption, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, core banking modernisation, risk and fraud management, and innovation.
In his new role, Manoj will lead Muthoot FinCorp’s technology strategy, drive the development of a future-ready technology architecture and strengthen the company’s digital capabilities. His focus will include modernising enterprise platforms, enhancing cybersecurity and leveraging technology to improve customer experience, operational excellence and innovation.

Before joining Muthoot FinCorp, Manoj served as Chief Information Officer (Telecom) at Bharti Airtel and previously held leadership positions, including CTO at Bandhan Bank, besides senior technology roles at Kotak Mahindra Bank and Kotak Life Insurance. An engineering graduate from BITS Pilani with a Master’s in Financial Management from JBIMS, Mumbai, he has been recognised among India’s Top 30 CTOs and has received several industry accolades.
