Sony India has unveiled the limited-edition 1000X THE COLLEXION headphones and the new WF-1000XM6 earbuds, marking a decade of its flagship 1000X series, known for setting benchmarks in premium audio and noise-cancelling technology.
The 1000X THE COLLEXION headphones combine premium materials, metal accents and luxurious leather finishes with a lightweight design aimed at all-day comfort. Equipped with Sony’s HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN3 and Integrated Processor V3, the headphones feature a bespoke driver unit tuned in collaboration with award-winning mastering engineers under Sony’s “For the Music” initiative.
The headphones use 12 microphones and Multi Noise Sensor technology to deliver real-time adaptive noise cancellation, while AI-powered voice pickup and beamforming microphones ensure crystal-clear calls. Additional features include Google Gemini integration, adaptive sound control, head gestures, speak-to-chat and seamless multi-device connectivity.
Sony has also introduced the WF-1000XM6 earbuds, which the company claims offer its best-ever noise-cancelling performance, reducing ambient noise by 25% compared to the previous generation. Powered by the HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN3e, the earbuds deliver enhanced sound quality, AI-driven call clarity and adaptive ambient sound.
Designed for everyday use, the earbuds feature an ergonomic fit, sweat and splash resistance, up to 24 hours of battery life with the charging case and support for wireless charging. Intelligent features such as scene-based listening, Google Gemini access, head gesture controls and speak-to-chat aim to deliver a seamless listening experience.
The 1000X THE COLLEXION headphones will be priced at ₹59,990, while the WF-1000XM6 earbuds will retail at ₹29,990. Both products will be available from August 7, 2026, across Amazon, Flipkart, Sony Center stores, Croma, Reliance Digital and ShopAtSC.com.
