Snapdeal has unveiled a multi-solution AI Suite designed to make fashion discovery more personal, visual and conversational for shoppers across Bharat. The suite combines personalised recommendations, conversational search and image-based discovery.
Snapdeal’s AI-powered recommendation engine, StyleMatch, currently influences 76% of customer orders. It uses browsing behaviour, purchase history, location, style preferences and real-time interactions to tailor product recommendations.
The platform has also introduced conversational search powered by Large Language Models, allowing customers to search using natural language and specify their occasion, budget and preferences. Snapdeal processes more than five million AI-assisted conversational searches every month.
Its AI-powered image search, Snap&Shop, enables shoppers to upload a photograph or screenshot of an outfit and discover similar products. The feature processes more than one million image searches each month.
With over 80% of orders originating from non-metro cities, these capabilities are aimed at making fashion discovery more accessible across Bharat.
Achint Setia, CEO, Snapdeal, said: “Fashion discovery should feel effortless and fun. Customers don’t think in keywords. They think in occasions, inspirations, colours, celebrities, trends and images. Our focus has been to build AI that understands that intent and helps customers discover fashion in the most natural way possible. Whether someone starts with a photograph, a conversation or simply wants to browse, AI enables us to make shopping more personal, intuitive and accessible for millions of shoppers across Bharat.”
