STUDDS Accessories Ltd., one of the world’s leading two-wheeler helmet manufacturers, has launched a limited-edition Nardo Grey series across seven popular helmet models to mark India’s 80th Independence Day. Only 1,947 units have been produced in gloss and matt finishes, commemorating 1947, the year India gained independence.

The Nardo Grey shade, inspired by the high-speed Nardo Ring in Italy, has become associated with performance and understated automotive design. STUDDS has brought the shade to its latest helmet collection as Indian riders increasingly embrace cleaner and more refined colour choices.

The Independence Day launch also draws inspiration from the grey tones associated with India’s defence forces. The campaign, titled #TheColourOfHonour, positions the colour as a tribute to strength, discipline and resilience.

The collection includes seven models—Helios, Trooper, Ninja Elite Super, Drifter, Raider Super, Vogue and Ray Super—covering full-face, modular and open-face helmet categories for different riding needs.

All helmets comply with Indian Safety Standards (ISI/BIS), while two models also carry DOT certification. Features include high-impact thermoplastic shells, regulated-density EPS liners, UV-resistant lacquer, breathable comfort padding and quick-release micro-metric chin strap buckles.

Speaking on the launch, Mr. Sidhartha Bhushan Khurana, Managing Director, STUDDS Accessories Ltd., said, “Our armed forces embody the ultimate expression of strength, discipline, and silent resilience. With The Colour of Honour, we wanted to bring that same ethos to everyday riders. The Nardo Grey range is a tribute to the tactical aesthetics of our defence forces and a commitment to providing world-class safety to every motorcyclist in India.”

The 1,947 helmets are being distributed through authorised STUDDS dealers across India and will be available shortly at retail outlets and the company’s online store.
