Samsung India has launched Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) 2026 in Karnataka, with plans to train 2,000 youth in industry-relevant Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills. The launch at the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Industry and Commerce (FKCCI) was attended by Shri Basavaraj Rayareddy, Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education, Government of Karnataka, and senior academicians from Nrupathunga University, Bengaluru.
Implemented in partnership with Nrupathunga University, the programme will provide participants aged 18–25 with practical AI education, hands-on training, expert mentoring and industry-relevant learning opportunities. Samsung Innovation Campus has trained over 3,000 people in Karnataka to date.

Samsung Innovation Campus complements the state’s efforts to build an AI-native ecosystem by giving youth access to practical, industry-relevant learning. Such collaborations between academia and industry can equip our students with the capabilities they need to participate meaningfully in the opportunities being created by emerging technologies.”
The Karnataka initiative contributes to Samsung’s commitment to empower 20,000 youth across 10 states through SIC 2026. Implemented with the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI) and Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC), the programme builds on the 2025 edition, which trained over 20,000 participants nationally, including 48% women.
Under its global CSR vision, “Together for Tomorrow! Enabling People,” Samsung continues to support youth through education and skilling initiatives, including Samsung Solve for Tomorrow and Samsung DOST.
