Exponent OTO vehicles have covered over 1.5 million kilometres and completed 25,000+ charging sessions
Exponent Energy, a Bengaluru-based energy company, has completed 200 electric vehicle retrofits of ICE autorickshaws in the city through its Exponent OTO platform, following a four-month pilot. The company aims to expand its retrofitment offering across key Indian cities.
The retrofitted vehicles have collectively covered over 1.5 million kilometres and completed more than 25,000 charging sessions. Exponent has also captured a 20% share of Bengaluru’s electric three-wheeler market.
Exponent OTO enables existing ICE three-wheelers to be converted to electric in 24 hours, while the company is also working with OEM partners to integrate its mobility platform into new electric three-wheelers. The platform offers 15-minute 0–100% rapid charging, a real-world range of 140–150 km and a five-year or 3,000-cycle warranty.

Exponent ONE, the company’s financing platform, enables financing for retrofit kits to reduce upfront costs for commercial drivers.
