The plan offers investment options in USD, EUR and GBP, with exposure to international equities, fixed income and gold
Ageas Federal Life Insurance today announced the launch of Aurum Advantage Plan, marking its entry into GIFT City. The company said the plan is the first multi-currency life insurance plan offered by a life insurer in GIFT City.
The Unit Linked Insurance Plan (ULIP) allows customers to invest in US dollars, euros or pounds, while providing life insurance protection. It offers exposure to international equities, fixed income and gold, enabling diversification across markets and asset classes.
The plan is open to customers of any nationality and residential status, including NRIs, OCIs and PIOs, subject to applicable terms and conditions. The minimum investment is USD 3,000, EUR 3,000 or GBP 3,000, depending on the selected currency. Features include multiple premium payment options and fund strategies, partial withdrawals without a lock-in period, maturity benefits, loyalty additions and death benefits, subject to policy terms.
Commenting on the launch, Jude Gomes, Managing Director and CEO, Ageas Federal Life Insurance, said, “Customers with international financial interests are increasingly seeking solutions that allow them to invest across currencies and markets. Aurum Advantage Plan addresses this need by combining multi-currency investment options with life insurance protection. Our entry into GIFT City gives us a strong platform to serve customers across international markets with solutions designed for their evolving financial needs.”
Through its GIFT City operations, the company plans to serve customers across the Middle East, North America, Europe, the UK, Singapore and Australia. It also plans to add term insurance and pension products to its GIFT City portfolio in the near future.
