Mahindra has revealed the name of its next all-electric SUV – the XEV 9S, a full-size 7-seater EV built on the company’s INGLO skateboard platform. The global premiere is scheduled on November 27 in Bengaluru at Mahindra’s ‘Scream Electric’ event, which will also mark one year of its electric SUV journey.
Unlike converted ICE SUVs, the XEV 9S has been engineered ground-up as a born-electric model. Its flat-floor INGLO architecture enables a spacious cabin, flexible seating layouts, and improved stability due to a lower centre of gravity. Sliding second-row seats and maximised interior volume aim to offer uncompromised comfort for all passengers.
Positioned for large families and lifestyle travel, the XEV 9S combines scale, space and pure electric performance as Mahindra continues to expand its EV portfolio.
