Reinforcing its vision of democratising access to advanced technologies, Reliance Jio has launched a large-scale Artificial Intelligence (AI) education initiative across Karnataka. The programme is designed to support digital inclusion by working closely with schools and colleges to deliver practical, hands-on AI learning through the Jio AI Classroom.

As AI becomes an integral part of modern education, institutions across India are increasingly rethinking how students and teachers are prepared for future careers. Through this initiative, the Jio AI Classroom is helping educators and learners build foundational and applied AI capabilities, supporting the transition toward truly AI-ready educational environments.

The initiative has already gained strong traction across the state, engaging with more than 1,000 schools in Karnataka. Over 10,000 teachers and students have registered for the training programmes, which are being conducted by senior Jio professionals with a focus on real-world applications of AI.

As part of its broader focus on youth skill development, Reliance Jio has also introduced a free, four-week online AI certification programme under the Jio AI Classroom banner. The structured course features a four-module curriculum that includes video-based lessons, downloadable study material, curated reference content, and interactive quizzes and assignments at the end of each module.

Participants who successfully complete the programme receive a completion badge. Learners accessing the course exclusively via JioPC are additionally awarded a Jio Institute certification, recognising both conceptual understanding and hands-on application of AI through assignments. Designed for self-paced learning on desktops or laptops, the programme enables participants to build practical AI skills aligned with evolving industry needs.
