Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited (AISATS), a leading airport services management company in India, has been awarded the Best Ground Services Award at Wings India 2026, one of the country’s most respected aviation industry platforms. The award recognizes AISATS’s sustained performance in delivering high-quality ground handling services while setting benchmarks in operational efficiency, safety, and passenger experience across Indian airports.

The award was presented by the Hon’ble Minister of Civil Aviation, Sri Ram Mohan Naidu, underlining AISATS’s position as a trusted partner for domestic and international airlines. The recognition reflects the company’s strong focus on service reliability, process innovation, workforce development, and sustainable airport operations.

AISATS has played a key role in modernizing ground handling in India through the adoption of digitally enabled and environmentally responsible solutions. These include Ground Radar systems, robotic dry-wash aircraft exterior cleaning, and digitized wheelchair management services. Such initiatives improve turnaround times, enhance passenger experience, and reduce environmental impact while strengthening safety and operational precision. The company has further optimized its processes through advanced Ground Support Equipment (GSE), digital workflows, green mobility solutions, and structured training programs that improve on-time performance, regulatory compliance, and overall resilience. AISATS is also the only ground handler in India to hold the Safety Clearance Certificate issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

Commenting on the achievement, Mr. Ramanathan Rajamani, CEO, AISATS, said, “This award validates our commitment to operational excellence and innovation. Ground services form the backbone of a dependable aviation ecosystem, and this recognition inspires us to continue raising industry standards as Indian aviation expands.”

Currently operating in Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mangaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, Ranchi, Raipur, and Kochi, AISATS delivers integrated ground and cargo handling services to its partner airlines. Looking ahead, the company is preparing for its next phase of growth with the development of a Multi-Modal Cargo Hub at the upcoming international airport in Noida.
