Renault India has commenced nationwide deliveries of the all-new Renault Duster, marking a significant milestone for the brand’s India operations. The first customer delivery took place in Chennai and was commemorated by François Provost, Chief Executive Officer of Renault Group, along with Stephane Deblaise, who personally handed over the keys to Dr. Arthanari Manickavasagam.

The occasion also coincided with the inauguration of Renault’s second ‘new’R’ store in Chennai, located on Mount Road. Designed as a modern urban retail concept, the 1S facility spans 4,500 sq. ft., including a 3,000 sq. ft. customer interaction and display area. The outlet can showcase up to five vehicles and features a dedicated delivery bay, offering an immersive and seamless brand experience. Chennai continues to play a pivotal role for Renault, having hosted both the first ‘new’R’ store and now the first delivery of the new Duster.

Renault India is accelerating its retail transformation strategy, with the Chennai launch marking its 11th ‘new’R’ store nationwide. The company plans to expand this format aggressively, targeting 70 such outlets across India within the year, complementing its existing network of over 350 sales touchpoints.

A pioneer in India’s mid-size SUV segment, the Duster continues to attract strong customer interest. Backed by initiatives like the Renault Forever program, offering coverage of up to seven years or 150,000 km, Renault India is reinforcing its customer-first approach amid strong business momentum, including a 77% sales growth recorded in March 2026.
