Yulu has crossed a significant milestone, clocking over 1 billion kilometres of rides in Bengaluru, reinforcing its leadership in hyperlocal electric mobility. With a fleet of 22,500 EVs, the company plays a central role in enabling last-mile deliveries, daily commutes, and leisure travel across the city.
Yulu’s scale is reflected in its operational impact—facilitating nearly 300,000 green deliveries daily and supporting over 190 million deliveries since inception. Its platform has also helped prevent more than 27 million kilograms of CO2 emissions in Bengaluru, contributing to improved urban air quality. This is equivalent to removing approximately 18,500 cars’ annual emissions.
Bengaluru remains Yulu’s largest market, with a strong presence across key hubs from Peenya to Whitefield and Hebbal to Electronic City. Backed by 16 Yulu Centres and over 700 zones, the network ensures seamless access to shared EVs across high-demand areas.
Amit Gupta, Co-founder & CEO, Yulu, said, “Bengaluru has been integral to Yulu’s journey. Crossing 1 billion kilometres is a testament to the city’s rapid adoption of sustainable mobility. We remain committed to making EVs accessible, affordable, and impactful for millions while strengthening the city’s position as a leader in green transport.”
Yulu’s integrated technology stack—including AI-led fleet management, predictive maintenance, and its energy partnership with Yuma Energy—enables high efficiency and availability. This allows delivery partners to reduce operating costs by 30–40% compared to petrol vehicles.
Highlighting future plans, Gupta added, “This milestone is just the beginning. We aim to expand our Bengaluru fleet to up to 40,000 EVs and further deepen our presence across neighbourhoods, while enabling more sustainable livelihoods through our platform.”
As demand grows across quick commerce and on-demand services, Yulu continues to strengthen Bengaluru’s position as a hub for sustainable, tech-driven mobility.
