ideaForge Technology Limited has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Digital Media Professionals Inc. (DMP) to co-develop next-generation AI-powered drones and expand its presence in Japan. The collaboration marks a significant step in ideaForge’s global growth strategy, combining Indian deep-tech innovation with Japan’s advanced AI capabilities.
Under the partnership, ideaForge will integrate DMP’s Di1 edge AI SoC into its UAV platforms to enhance autonomous capabilities, while DMP will act as the go-to-market partner in Japan. This includes enabling product demonstrations, distribution, training, and after-sales support, strengthening ideaForge’s entry into key Japanese sectors such as defence, security, and industrial applications.
The collaboration comes at a time when the global drone market is witnessing rapid expansion, driven by increasing demand for autonomous and intelligent systems. Edge AI is emerging as a critical enabler, powering real-time decision-making and operational efficiency in complex environments. By combining ideaForge’s proven UAV platforms with DMP’s AI processing capabilities, the partnership aims to deliver high-performance, reliable drone solutions suited for demanding use cases.
