Inspira Realty has signed a long-term lease agreement with NIFCO India Pvt. Ltd. for a 2,23,561 sq. ft. industrial plot at its flagship industrial and warehousing park, Inspira City, located in Shendra MIDC. The facility will house NIFCO India’s fourth manufacturing plant in the country, further strengthening its presence in one of the world’s fastest-growing automotive markets.
A subsidiary of Japan-headquartered NIFCO Inc., NIFCO India supplies plastic fasteners, clips and functional components to leading automotive manufacturers. The new facility is expected to enhance the company’s production capacity and support the growing requirements of automotive OEMs across India.
The transaction marks another milestone for Inspira City, with NIFCO becoming the third Japanese company to establish operations at the park, following NHK Springs Co. Ltd. and Aisin Automotive India Pvt. Ltd.
Commenting on the development, Aayush Madhusudan Agrawal, Founder & Managing Director, Inspira Global, said, “NIFCO’s decision to establish its fourth India facility at Inspira City reflects the strength of the industrial ecosystem we have created. The growing presence of Japanese manufacturers is particularly significant, as it highlights the confidence global companies place in our infrastructure, connectivity and long-term vision of building a world-class manufacturing destination.”
Uday Shankar, MD, NIFCO India, said, “India remains a key growth market for NIFCO. Our new facility will strengthen local manufacturing capabilities and enable us to support customers more effectively. Inspira City’s infrastructure readiness, strategic location and industrial ecosystem made it a natural choice for our expansion plans.”
The latest transaction adds to a growing list of domestic and international manufacturers choosing Inspira City, further strengthening Maharashtra’s position as a preferred destination for industrial and manufacturing investments.
