Saibal Roy Joins Ishan Technologies as COO to Lead Next Phase of Growth

Ishan Technologies, a leading provider of ICT and digital infrastructure solutions in India, has announced the appointment of Saibal Roy as its Chief Operating Officer. The appointment comes as the company continues to strengthen its leadership team to support business expansion and operational excellence.

Roy brings over 30 years of experience across the ICT and telecommunications sectors, having held leadership positions with some of India’s leading technology and telecom companies. His expertise spans enterprise business, digital transformation, customer engagement and business operations.

Before joining Ishan Technologies, Roy led the Manufacturing, Retail and Distribution vertical at ServiceNow India. Earlier, during his 14-year tenure at Bharti Airtel, he held senior leadership roles across Enterprise Business, Government Business and Carrier Wholesale, contributing to business growth across these segments. He has also worked with Tata Communications, HFCL and Tulip Telecom. Roy holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering and has completed executive programmes at ISB Hyderabad and INSEAD Fontainebleau.

Commenting on the appointment, Purvi Kotecha, Director, Ishan Technologies, said, “As our business continues to grow, strengthening our operational capabilities remains a key priority.
