Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Posts Double-Digit Profit Growth in Q1 FY27

Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Limited (ABSLAMC) today announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, reporting steady growth across assets under management, revenue and profitability.

As of June 30, 2026, the company’s overall closing AUM, including mandates, stood at ₹10.7 trillion, compared with ₹4.4 trillion a year ago. During the quarter, overall QAAUM, including alternate assets, grew 42% year-on-year to ₹6,279 billion, while Mutual Fund QAAUM increased 6% to ₹4,277 billion.

Equity Mutual Fund QAAUM rose 10% year-on-year to ₹1,987 billion, accounting for 46.5% of Mutual Fund QAAUM. Individual Monthly AAUM stood at ₹2,106 billion, while B-30 Monthly AAUM reached ₹743 billion, representing 17.3% of Mutual Fund AUM.

The company’s PMS/AIF business, including ESIC and EPFO mandates, recorded a five-fold increase in QAAUM to ₹1,945 billion, while Passive QAAUM grew 14% year-on-year to ₹400 billion.

ABSLAMC serviced 11.1 million investor folios as of June 30, 2026. Monthly SIP contribution, including STPs, stood at ₹10.85 billion with 4.03 million contributing SIP accounts, while approximately 547,000 new SIPs were registered during the quarter.

For Q1 FY27, ABSLAMC reported total revenue of ₹6.3 billion, up 11% year-on-year, profit before tax of ₹4.1 billion, up 9%, and profit after tax of ₹3.1 billion, reflecting a 12% year-on-year increase. The company continues to strengthen its distribution network through 95,500+ KYD-compliant MFDs, 360+ national distributors, 90+ banks, and a presence across 310+ locations, with over 80% located in B-30 cities.
