New EXPL 10, EXPL 20 and EXPL 140 cater to riders across skill levels
Decathlon Sports India has expanded its ROCKRIDER Explore Series with three new mountain bikes—the EXPL 10, EXPL 20 and EXPL 140. The lineup caters to riders ranging from beginners and leisure cyclists to trail and adventure enthusiasts, with the EXPL 140 marking Decathlon’s first 29-inch Made-in-India mountain bike.
The Explore Series has been developed using research on Indian rider morphology, riding behaviour and terrain. The bikes feature locally adapted frame geometry, handlebar widths, saddle ergonomics and testing protocols, combining technical components with ease of handling.
“Decathlon’s Production journey in India began 26 years ago with exports of bicycle components. When retail opened in India in 2011, our dream to have more than 97% of bikes sold in India are Made in India became a reality. Today, we continue to expand ROCKRIDER Explore Series represents the pinnacle of that manufacturing excellence,” said Hans Peter Jensen, Sports Director, Decathlon India.
“With the EXPL 10, EXPL 20, and our flagship 29 inch, the EXPL 140—we are delivering a highly technical, professional-grade range that elevates overall wellbeing and active living. Designed and built locally for Indian terrain, this lineup gives every rider the precision, power and confidence to take on any adventure.”
The EXPL 10 features a lightweight aluminium frame, 660 mm handlebars and all-weather tyres, while the EXPL 20 offers a steel frame, wider saddle, comfort grips and mechanical disc brakes.
The EXPL 140 features an aluminium frame, 100 mm hydraulic suspension, 10-speed Shimano CUES gearing, trigger shifters and disc brakes.
The ROCKRIDER Explore Series will be available at select Decathlon stores and on Decathlon’s website.
