TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS) has announced a joint venture with Italy-based ALA Group to build a specialised aerospace and defence supply chain platform in India. Under the partnership, TVS SCS will hold a 51% stake while ALA Group will own 49%. The venture is targeting cumulative revenues exceeding ₹2,000 crore by 2031.

The partnership combines TVS SCS’ extensive logistics network, digital capabilities and execution strength with ALA’s global expertise in aerospace and defence supply-chain integration. The new entity will leverage advanced technologies, data-driven inventory management and intelligent logistics solutions to support the growing requirements of aerospace and defence customers in India.

“This joint venture marks our entry into the high-growth and globally significant aerospace and defence supply chain market,” said R. Dinesh, Executive Chairman, TVS Supply Chain Solutions. “ALA brings deep domain expertise, strong global customer relationships and proven capabilities that complement our extensive network and digital capabilities. Together, we are building a scalable and future-ready platform for global aerospace and defence companies serving India.”

Vittorio Genna, Vice President and Co-Founder, ALA Group, said, “India is one of the world’s fastest-growing aerospace and defence markets. Through this partnership with TVS SCS, we are well positioned to support the evolving requirements of global customers. Their strong operational and technology-led execution capabilities make them an ideal partner to build a differentiated aerospace and defence logistics platform.”

“The industry demands stringent compliance, traceability and specialised supply chain expertise,” said Vikas Chadha, Global CEO, TVS Supply Chain Solutions. “By combining our infrastructure and technology strengths with ALA’s aerospace expertise, we are creating a compelling platform that can efficiently navigate these complexities while delivering profitable growth.”

Mauro Romano, CEO, ALA MENA, added, “India is a strategically important market, and this partnership creates a strong foundation to deliver localised and globally integrated supply chain solutions for aerospace and defence customers.”

The JV will offer sourcing, inventory management, kitting, sub-assembly, warehousing and delivery services, supporting India’s rapidly expanding aerospace and defence ecosystem.
