Flipkart and Netflix have announced a first-of-its-kind partnership that allows Flipkart Plus members to earn a Netflix Mobile Plan every month through their regular shopping activity. Starting August 1, customers will be able to unlock the benefit without purchasing a separate subscription or opting for a bundled recharge plan.

Under the programme, Flipkart Plus members need to complete four qualifying orders worth ₹299 or more within a calendar month. Orders placed across Flipkart, Flipkart Grocery and Flipkart Minutes will be eligible for the offer.

Once customers complete the fourth qualifying purchase, they will receive access to a Netflix Mobile Plan for the next 30 days, enabling them to watch Netflix’s collection of Indian and international films and series. The benefit can be activated directly through the Flipkart app, eliminating the need for an additional payment or separate login.

To continue enjoying the benefit, customers must meet the same shopping criteria every month. Users who are not already part of the Flipkart Plus programme will automatically become eligible after placing 15 orders over a 12-month period at no additional cost.

The partnership introduces a new loyalty model in Indian e-commerce by transforming everyday shopping into an entertainment reward. Instead of being bundled with another service or purchased separately, Netflix access can now be earned through regular shopping habits.

The initiative is expected to strengthen customer engagement across Flipkart’s ecosystem, particularly in categories such as grocery and quick commerce. By combining shopping and entertainment, the partnership aims to deliver greater value to millions of consumers and create a seamless experience that blends daily necessities with access to world-class entertainment.
