Dhoot Transmission Limited has announced that its initial public offering (IPO) will open for subscription on Monday, August 10, 2026, and close on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. The anchor investor bidding process will commence on August 7.
The company has fixed the price band at ₹829-₹871 per equity share of face value ₹2 each. Investors can bid for a minimum of 17 equity shares and in multiples thereof.
The IPO comprises a fresh issue of equity shares aggregating up to ₹1,400 crore and an offer for sale of up to 1.91 crore shares by existing shareholders, including BC Asia Investments XV Limited and Mangalam Capital Private Limited.
At the upper end of the price band, the issue is valued at a price-to-earnings ratio of 35.70 times based on the company’s FY26 diluted earnings per share, compared with the average industry peer-group P/E ratio of 55.31 times. Eligible employees bidding in the employee reservation category will receive a discount of ₹80 per share.
The company reported a weighted average return on net worth of 27.06 per cent over the last three financial years.
The issue is being offered through the book-building process, with up to 50 per cent of the net offer reserved for qualified institutional buyers, while at least 15 per cent and 35 per cent have been earmarked for non-institutional and retail investors, respectively.
Dhoot Transmission plans to list its shares on the National Stock Exchange and BSE, with NSE serving as the designated stock exchange.
