India’s first commercial EV manufacturer to achieve the milestone
Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML) has crossed 4 lakh cumulative electric vehicle sales, becoming the first commercial vehicle manufacturer in India to achieve the milestone. The company has also retained its position as India’s No. 1 electric commercial vehicle manufacturer for four consecutive financial years.
The milestone spans passenger and cargo last-mile segments and reflects growing adoption of electric mobility among drivers, delivery partners, shopkeepers and small businesses. Mahindra’s electric portfolio includes the UDO, Treo range, Zor Grand, ZEO and e-Alfa.
Mahindra EVs have collectively travelled more than 9 billion kilometres, helping avoid approximately 1.85 lakh metric tonnes of CO₂ emissions, equivalent to planting more than 8.3 million trees.
MLMML’s approach has focused on making electric mobility economically viable for customers by combining customer-centric products with financing, partnerships and support, helping improve daily earnings and business outcomes.
Ms. Suman Mishra, Managing Director and CEO of Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited, said, “4 Lakh is not just a number for us — it is 4 Lakh livelihoods we helped power every single day. This milestone belongs to the drivers and entrepreneurs who chose electric, and to the partners and teams who made electric mobility a practical choice for India’s last mile economy. At Mahindra, our focus remains clear: build better products, strengthen the ecosystem and make electric mobility accessible for every last mile customer.”
The company aims to put one million EVs on Indian roads by 2031.
