1,400+ awareness activations conducted across 401 cities and towns
Axis Bank, one of India’s largest private sector banks, has concluded its nationwide Consumer Protection Awareness Campaign under the theme “Nazar Fraud Par, Sabr Khud Par”, aimed at strengthening awareness around financial fraud and promoting safe banking practices.
The campaign covered 401 cities and towns across 23 states, with more than 1,400 activations engaging over 69,000 individuals through customer education and awareness initiatives. The outreach extended from major cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai to smaller towns and rural locations such as Agar, Sambalpur, Ayodhya and Chinamiram.
In South India, the campaign conducted 250+ activities and generated over 20,000 engagements across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. The Bank partnered with government departments, educational institutions, healthcare organisations and local authorities, including the Income Tax Department, AP Sheep & Goat Federation, municipal bodies, collector offices, SRKR Engineering College, Swarnandra College of Engineering & Technology and Care Hospitals.
A key highlight was Axis Bank’s collaboration with the Andhra Pradesh State Government and Police Department to promote safe digital banking. The campaign poster was launched by Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Smt. Vangalapudi Anitha and Director General of Police Shri Harish Kumar Gupta, IPS.

Axis Bank also continues to strengthen safe banking through features including Mobile App Code, Face Authentication, Safety Centre, Lock FD and SMS Shield.
