Samsung TV Plus India has expanded its content portfolio to 200 streaming TV channels, offering viewers across the country more entertainment choices at no additional cost. As part of the expansion, Samsung TV Plus has partnered with NH Studioz to launch Aashirwad TV and Thalaivar Hits, featuring mythological content and iconic Indian cinema.

Aashirwad TV will showcase Hindi entertainment and mythological favourites including Ramayana, Shree Ganesha and Om Namah Shivaay. Thalaivar Hits will feature films starring Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, including Kai Kodukkum and Thambikku Entha Ooru.

Samsung TV Plus India was also recognised as the CTV Platform of the Year at the BCS Ratna Awards.

Kunal Mehta, General Manager, Head of Business Development, Samsung TV Plus India, said, “Our focus has always been on offering viewers more of the content they love. Over the years, Samsung TV Plus has continued to expand its content ecosystem — growing from over 50 channels to 200 channels in India today. This milestone reflects our commitment to continuously bringing diverse entertainment choices across genres to our viewers. The addition of Aashirwad TV and Thalaivar Hits further enriches our portfolio with beloved stories and iconic films that resonate with audiences across generations.”

Shreyans Hirawat, Head – Film Business & Innovation, NH Studioz, said, “We are delighted to partner with Samsung TV Plus, a leading force in shaping the Connected TV experience and bringing innovative entertainment choices to audiences. Indian viewers increasingly seek curated content experiences that resonate with their cultural and regional preferences. While Aashirwad TV offers timeless mythological and devotional stories for families across generations, Thalaivar Hits is our tribute to the enduring legacy of Superstar Rajinikanth, celebrating one of Indian cinema’s most iconic cultural phenomena. These launches build on the success of our existing Hindi movie and music live streaming TV channels and mark the next phase of NH Studioz’s expansion in the FAST ecosystem, as we continue to develop premium, genre-focused channels for Connected TV audiences.”
