Hexaware Technologies [NSE: HEXT], a global provider of IT solutions and services, has announced its collaboration with the Project NANDA Fellowship, a three-month, fully remote programme that gives developers hands-on experience in building open-source infrastructure for the emerging Internet of AI Agents.
Hosted by FAN, the umbrella programme behind Project NANDA, the fellowship is supported by Hexaware as part of its participation in the open agentic web ecosystem.
The programme focuses on a key challenge in agentic AI: enabling autonomous AI agents to discover, verify and coordinate with one another at scale. Fellows will contribute directly to Project NANDA, which originated at the MIT Media Lab and is developing infrastructure, standards and reference implementations for an open, decentralised Internet of AI Agents.
The inaugural cohort includes more than 10 Fellows, comprising Hexaware engineers and external developers selected from applicants worldwide. Participants will receive a stipend, direct mentorship and the opportunity to contribute code to live open-source agentic infrastructure.
For Hexaware, the collaboration supports its efforts to develop the next generation of AI infrastructure engineers while contributing to the open-source community working on the future of agentic AI. The initiative also complements Hexaware’s investments in agentic AI, including its AI delivery layer, Zerovity™.
Applications for the fellowship are open to developers worldwide. The priority review deadline is September 19, 2026, with applications received by then receiving priority consideration.
