MiCoB, a Gujarat-based construction-technology startup, has secured a ₹30 Cr investment commitment on Episode 7 of Vande Bharatam, marking the largest deal recorded on the initiative this season.
The investment was jointly offered by Kalyan Krishnamurthy, CEO of Flipkart, and Ashutosh Valani, Co-Founder of RENÉE Cosmetics. Separately, Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd, offered support for MiCoB’s ongoing and future construction projects.
Founded by Ankita Sinha, Shashank Shekhar and Rishabh Mathur, MiCoB has developed a Digital Construction Manufacturing platform that combines robotic 3D printing with proprietary printable concrete materials, automated batching, intelligent mixing and pumping, controlled extrusion, robotic deposition, digital process planning and quality control.
The company’s technology is already being used across defence, infrastructure and civil construction applications, including bunkers, retaining structures and modular buildings. Its manufacturing-led approach is designed to reduce dependence on conventional formwork and manual execution while enabling faster construction, lower material wastage and consistent quality.
Commenting on the deal, Karan Adani, Managing Director, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd, said, “MiCoB is a clear example of what Vande Bharatam is designed to surface — deep-tech innovation that’s already solving real infrastructure problems on the ground. Their platform has the potential to change how we build in this country, and we’re glad to back that journey.”
Kalyan Krishnamurthy, CEO, Flipkart, said, “What convinced us wasn’t just the technology — it was seeing MiCoB’s platform already deployed and working across defence, infrastructure and industrial sites. That’s rare at this stage, and it’s why we moved quickly to back them.”
The season concludes on 17 September with the Grand Finale.
